Part 5: From Overwhelm to Opportunity: Changing How Australian Parents Discover Activities

Problems and possibilities aren’t facts. They’re perspectives.

When I left the corporate world, I was flooded with concern. “It’s risky.” “You’re leaving stability.” “What if it doesn’t work?” The thing is, these warnings were just people offering their own fears.

I learned to shift my focus. Instead of obsessing over what could go wrong, I trained myself to see what could go right.

This mental discipline has been a game-changer. Every situation, good or bad, became an opportunity to learn, pivot, or grow. That mindset is now part of our team culture at HappyKids HQ.

Ask Yourself: What’s one challenge you’re facing that could be reframed as an opportunity?

Next, in Part 6, I’ll dive into the power of the phrase “what if?” and how that changed everything for me.
